Andrea Pinabell

Andrea Pinabell is a seasoned sustainability executive with nearly 30 years of experience across the private, philanthropic, and nonprofit sectors. She is the CEO and Founder of AC Impact Advisors, a boutique advisory firm that partners with leaders to design and implement strategies for sustainable organizational transformation, cleantech innovation, ESG initiatives, and impactful partnerships that drive growth and measurable impact.

Previously, Andrea served as a Distinguished External Fellow at the Strategic Energy Institute at Georgia Institute of Technology and as Vice President of Growth and Innovation at RE Tech Advisors, a Legence Company, where she directed strategy, strategic partnerships, innovation, and communications for sustainability-focused commercial real estate and institutional investor clients.

Andrea’s leadership journey also includes her tenure as President of Southface Institute, the Southeast’s oldest sustainability nonprofit based in Atlanta. Under her leadership, Southface advanced its mission to foster a regenerative economy through resource efficiency, social equity, and a healthy built environment. Prior to that, she was Vice President of Sustainability and Global Citizenship at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, where she oversaw the development and integration of global sustainability initiatives across 1,500+ properties spanning 100+ countries. Andrea also held key roles at The Home Depot Foundation and Kimley-Horn.

Andrea is an active board member for organizations including Lime Rock New Energy, Georgia Cleantech Innovation Hub and the Center for Responsible Travel. Her leadership and impact have been recognized with numerous accolades, including being named one of Georgia’s Most Notable Georgians (2020), Atlanta 500 Top Leaders (2020 & 2021), and receiving the USGBC Leadership Award (2019). She was also inducted into 2018 Energy Leader 75, highlighting her influence among the nation’s top energy leaders.

Andrea holds a Chemical Engineering degree from Iowa State University and a graduate qualification in Business Sustainable Management from Cambridge University.
