What Does HCP Infrastructure Do?

HCP Infrastructure (“HCP”) is LRNE’s low-carbon precast concrete platform.  LRNE formed HCP in 2026 to serve as the holding company for multiple acquisitions in the precast concrete industry.  HCP’s first acquisition, in September 2026, was Holton Concrete Products, LLC (“Holton”). HCP is headquartered in Christiana, TN.

Holton was founded in 1996 by Thomas Holton and was owned and operated by the Holton family until its acquisition by HCP. The Holton family grew Holton into a highly profitable, NPCA-certified precast concrete manufacturer with a deep local market position in Middle Tennessee. Today Holton manufactures a broad range of precast concrete products including reinforced concrete pipe, manholes, catch basins, and stormwater and sanitary structures, serving municipalities, developers, and other infrastructure customers. Holton’s Shelbyville Pike site will also be home in 2027 to a new, purpose-built pipe manufacturing plant currently under construction.

Customer Value Proposition

Holton’s value proposition for its customers is that a contractor can source a complete drainage package from a single producer. Because Holton makes both reinforced concrete pipe and structures (manholes, catch basins, box culverts, junction boxes, vaults) that are typically installed on the same job, plus a small resale line of castings, rebar, and covers, customers are able to source everything needed for a project from Holton. The structures products are built to project spec, enabling customers to get units engineered for the specific applications needed for their project with factory-produced consistency. Holton’s quality is also credentialed with NPCA certification at the Shelbyville Pike facility, a distinction held by only 15% of U.S. precast plants.

Climate Impact

HCP is implementing Supplementary Cementitious Materials (“SCMs”) into its products at both Holton and future acquisitions. SCMs allow the use of less cement, which has a high carbon emissions profile, in concrete without compromising quality. Holton expects to substitute up to a quarter of the cement in its mix with various SCMs including fly ash. Holton’s proximity to several SCM suppliers will allow it to cost-effectively reduce the cement content in its mixes, lowering the carbon footprint of its products as well as raw material costs.
